Suhora Technologies
Noida geospatial analytics firm that owns no satellites but tasks more than 250 of them through SPADE, its subscription platform for radar, optical, thermal and hyperspectral data.
Suhora Technologies sells satellite data and analysis it does not collect itself. Incorporated in Uttar Pradesh in May 2018 and run from Noida by co-founders Krishanu Acharya, Amit Kumar and Rupesh Kumar, the company buys capacity from foreign and Indian satellite operators and resells tasking, archive imagery and derived products through SPADE, a subscription platform it launched at the Indian Space Conclave in New Delhi in November 2024. At SPADE's first anniversary in December 2025 the company said it had tasked 1.33 million sq km of surface and wired in data from more than 250 Indian and international satellites, spanning optical, radar, thermal and hyperspectral sensors, with digital terrain modelling, InSAR and NDVI processing layered on top.
That catalogue was assembled deal by deal. In October 2023 ICEYE, the Finnish operator of the largest commercial radar constellation, announced a multi-year imagery contract with Suhora that it called one of the largest SAR deals in Asia; neither company put a value on it. An exclusive multi-year thermal alliance with the British firm SatVu followed in June 2024, signed roughly six months after SatVu's only satellite in orbit, HotSat-1, lost its camera and ended its mission, which left the thermal offering waiting on replacement spacecraft. In July 2025 Suhora added hyperspectral imagery from Orbital Sidekick's five-satellite GHOSt constellation, up to 472 contiguous bands at 8.3-metre resolution. Satellogic granted it exclusive rights to sell Satellogic data in India and Nepal that September under a seven-figure multi-year agreement, and Indian supply arrived in December 2025 with Azista Industries' AFR1, a 4.6-metre multispectral satellite carrying a panchromatic band and six multispectral bands.
Three narrower products sit on the data layer: Mirka, a defence and maritime tracker priced at $25,000 a year that classifies objects such as tanks and ships; SID, used by state authorities and insurers during floods, landslides and cyclones; and Joules, an energy-infrastructure product used by Middle East renewables developers including ACWA Power and Masdar. SPADE subscriptions start at $5,000 a year and run to multimillion-dollar contracts. Suhora has taken no venture round. A December 2025 profile reported it was bootstrapped on about ₹15 lakh of founder savings, cash-positive from its first year of operations, with roughly 75 staff and revenue of about ₹40 crore in FY25; a corporate-filings aggregator lists ₹41.36 crore for the year ended 31 March 2025 and about 30 employees in October 2025, so the headcount figures do not reconcile.
Public-sector work has arrived in small increments. IN-SPACe selected Suhora in March 2025 for a seed fund grant-in-aid under its marine-sector opportunity, one of 45 proposals submitted, without disclosing the amount. In June 2026 trade coverage reported that Suhora was the only bidder to clear technical evaluation on a ₹6.75 crore NewSpace India Limited tender for SAR imagery and vector annotation, after Dhruva Space, IGEO Consultants and Satpalda Trading were disqualified; that coverage described the contract as one Suhora was set to receive rather than one already signed, and no award announcement has followed. The company has said it intends to deploy ground stations and fly a satellite of its own, but has named no vehicle, launch partner or date.
