NASA’s October 14, 2026 station log records Anil Menon transferring student-controlled Earth-observation hardware from the Destiny laboratory into the Columbus laboratory aboard the International Space Station.

Menon was born and raised in Minneapolis to Ukrainian and Indian immigrants, NASA’s biography records. The emergency-medicine physician launched to the station on July 14, 2026, for an approximately eight-month mission.

The October 14 entry documents the hardware’s movement between laboratories. It does not give a reason for the transfer, report new imagery or state when students will next use the equipment.
