Venttup plans to expand engineering and precision manufacturing following a reported $3 million pre-Series A round. Express Computer and Inc42 reported the financing on October 29, 2026, naming Rainmatter by Zerodha and Unicorn India Ventures as co-leads. The Bengaluru company intends to fund engineering hires, manufacturing and rapid prototyping.

Express Computer reports that Venttup is setting up a Bengaluru facility for precision machining, turning and sheet metal production. It is intended to support component development and prototyping. The report describes a facility being established; it does not establish that production has started there.

Inc42 describes Venttup’s operating model as combining in-house engineering with manufacturing partners, primarily micro, small and medium enterprises. It coordinates component development, supplier qualification, prototype testing, quality inspections and production. Space systems are among its markets, alongside energy, defence and other industrial sectors.

Venttup’s company presentation, hosted by Hannover Messe, describes developing 29 types of machined stainless-steel and aluminium components for satellite integration through a manufacturing partner. This is the company’s account of the work. The presentation does not name the satellite or customer, date the project, or establish that the parts flew.

The funding reports describe broader manufacturing expansion and do not disclose a separate allocation for space work. Neither report gives an opening date for the Bengaluru facility.
