Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR at Sriharikota has invited bids to manufacture, supply and erect an SC120 retraction system mast structure. The Indian Space Research Organisation’s procurement portal lists the tender as published on October 23, 2026.

The official tender, numbered SH202600128501, includes fabrication and machining of the mechanical structure, along with wire ropes, turnbuckles, shock absorbers, bearings, springs and pulleys. Erection and commissioning form a separate item in the bid schedule.

The procurement uses separate technical-commercial and price bids. The document requires bidders to keep prices out of the technical-commercial submission; it is an invitation for offers, rather than a contract award.

Online bid submission opened at 11 a.m. Indian Standard Time on October 23. The portal sets the deadline at 4 p.m. IST on November 12, with bid opening scheduled for 5 p.m. that day.
