Northwood Space announced on November 2, 2026 that it had closed a $375 million Series C round to fund existing contract delivery, recruitment and expansion of its satellite ground network. The company is based in Torrance, California.
Andreessen Horowitz and DFJ Growth co-led the financing, Northwood said. It also disclosed a separate multi-year credit facility from HSBC Innovation Banking for working capital and network expansion; the announcement did not specify that facility’s size.
Axios reported that the round valued Northwood at $2 billion. Via Satellite also reported the financing after a media roundtable with chief executive and co-founder Bridgit Mendler.
Northwood’s shared network uses company-built antennas and scheduling software to connect satellite operators with spacecraft. The company said it had deployed six multi-orbit-capable sites on two continents since its previous funding round. That deployment count is Northwood’s account.
Further expansion remains ahead: Northwood said it expects to announce additional sites and network expansions in the first half of 2027.
