Copernicus Data Space Ecosystem published a November 3, 2026, operational notice reporting delays in the publication of some Sentinel-1, Sentinel-2 and Sentinel-3 data. The notice dates the degradation to approximately 10:46 UTC on November 1 and limits its scope to a subset of acquired data.

The European Space Agency notice said investigators were working to establish the cause and restore normal operations. It did not quantify the delayed data or give a recovery time.

The Copernicus Sentinel Operations Dashboard’s November 1 incident entry lists Sentinel-1C, Sentinel-1D, Sentinel-2B, Sentinel-2C, Sentinel-3A, Sentinel-3B and Sentinel-3C as affected. Its description gives the same estimated 10:46 UTC start and states that analysis is ongoing.

The delay concerns a service offering open and free Sentinel Earth-observation data. The Data Space Ecosystem’s service description supports access, viewing, downloading and analysis for users anywhere in the world. Neither incident record identifies country-specific effects.

When checked on November 4, the dashboard retained that incident description while its separate real-time-events panel indicated nominal operations. The November 3 notice and the incident entry did not supply a resolution time. The records therefore do not establish when the delayed subset returned to normal publication.
