The Copernicus operations dashboard lists a return to nominal Sentinel-1D operations at 15:29 UTC on October 29, 2026, following an interruption estimated to have begun at 21:30 UTC on October 28. It is the second interruption recorded for the satellite that week.
A separate dashboard entry places the earlier interruption between 16:20 UTC on October 26 and 17:32 UTC on October 27. ESA’s October 27 data-unavailability notice now carries an October 28 update stating that nominal operations had resumed.
Update, October 30: These official recovery records supersede the open-ended status in our October 28 report. The dashboard’s publication timestamps are separate from the operational end times stated in its incident descriptions.
Sentinel-1D supplies radar products through the Copernicus Data Space Ecosystem. ESA’s April 16 user-access announcement described its calibrated products as ready for integration into the operational data offer on a global scale, with access starting April 17.
The recovery times are agency status records; independent operational confirmation was unavailable at publication. Neither incident entry identifies a technical cause, counts missing observations or establishes whether data missed during the interruptions will be supplied later.
