XDLINX Space Labs plans to explore satellite technology for ocean sciences and disaster management with the Indian National Centre for Ocean Information Services (INCOIS), according to a company announcement published on 1 November. The public post describes a memorandum of understanding for research collaboration, without announcing an operational service.

The company identified its chief executive Rupesh Gandupalli and INCOIS director T.M. Balakrishnan Nair as the agreement's signatories. It did not state when the signing ceremony took place.

XDLINX described monitoring and decision-making as areas it wants to explore through the collaboration. The announcement did not identify a satellite, payload, budget, data-delivery arrangement or implementation deadline. It therefore leaves the hardware and timetable for the proposed research unspecified.
