Grahaa Space plans another satellite demonstration to test its optical payload after signing two customers for upcoming missions, co-founder and chief executive Ramesh Kumar V told The Hindu BusinessLine in an interview published on 20 September. The Bengaluru company intends to use the test before building a constellation designed to sell near-real-time Earth-observation video.

The customers are not named in the interview. It does not disclose what each customer contracted for, the value of the agreements or whether either demonstration has a launch booking. Kumar described the next flight as an optical-payload test; selling data from a constellation remains a later plan, rather than a service that this announcement says is operating.

Grahaa's SOLARAS technology demonstrator was deployed aboard Skyroot Aerospace's Vikram-1 in July, according to a TimesTech report of the company's announcement. The satellite was built to test Grahaa's platform and hosted-payload architecture. The reported customer agreements and proposed optical test are developments after that deployment, not another completed mission.

The BusinessLine report gives target windows as Q4 FY26 and Q1 FY27 but supplies no calendar launch dates. Those fiscal-quarter labels cannot be reconciled as future windows with the report's September 2026 publication date under the usual Indian financial-year convention. Until Grahaa clarifies the intended dates, the timing of either proposed demonstration remains unresolved.
