The International Charter Space and Major Disasters has added three mapping products for Andhra Pradesh after Cyclone Arnab, bringing its public activation record to seven. The newest entry, dated November 2, 2026, covers water accumulation around Srikakulam, Vizianagaram and Parvathipuram Manyam districts.
The listing also includes pre- and post-event satellite images for Anakapalli district dated October 31 and a water-accumulation product for part of East Godavari district dated November 1.
The November 2 product’s detail panel names the National Remote Sensing Centre, part of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), as producer. It identifies EOS-04 satellite imagery acquired on October 31; that acquisition date precedes the product’s creation date.
ISRO requested activation 1056, which the Charter dates to October 29 at 7:48 a.m. Indian Standard Time. It remains marked ongoing. The additions are documented by the Charter listing; their use in rescue or relief operations has not been independently verified.
Update, November 3: This follow-up adds the October 31–November 2 products to the four October 30 maps covered in our October 31 report.
