The International Charter Space and Major Disasters has published two reference maps for Vizianagaram and Srikakulam districts in Andhra Pradesh following Cyclone Arnab. Both entries carry a November 4, 2026 creation date, bringing the public record for activation 1056 to ten products.
The official product panels identify the National Remote Sensing Centre, part of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), as producer. Both list imagery from the Korean KOMPSAT-3 satellite acquired on November 1 and credit the Korea Aerospace Research Institute.
ISRO requested the activation on October 29 at 7:48 a.m. Indian Standard Time. The record remains marked ongoing. Publication establishes the maps’ availability; their use in rescue or relief operations has not been independently verified.
Update, November 5: The two November 4 products are additional to the eight documented in our previous report, which covered a November 3 Sentinel-2 map for Anakapalli district.
