Copernicus Data Space Ecosystem has scheduled an upgrade of its Sentinel-1 On Demand Production service for 8 October 2026. The platform's 5 October notice says the service will be unavailable from 09:00 to 12:00 Central European Summer Time (CEST). The notice describes planned maintenance; it does not report a current outage.
On Demand Production lets users request new Sentinel-1 products from raw satellite data, with a choice of processing workflows and settings, according to Copernicus documentation. The announced pause concerns that production service. The notice does not say that downloads of existing products or other Copernicus Data Space services will stop.
Copernicus says its data platform serves people and organisations worldwide, so the planned pause is relevant to users of this service beyond Europe. The notice gives no further detail about the upgrade or whether outstanding production orders will be affected.
