SpaceX fired the Super Heavy booster assigned to Starship Flight 15 at Starbase, Texas, on October 25, 2026. The company described the ground test as a full-duration firing of all 33 engines. NASASpaceflight’s separate October 26 Starbase report also records Booster 22 completing a full-duration static fire.
Space.com identified the vehicle as Booster 22 and reported an approximately 15-second burn of its Raptor 3 engines. NASASpaceflight placed the test at Pad 2.
The flight campaign still has upper-stage work ahead. Space.com reported that Ship 42 must undergo its own static fire and final systems checks before it is paired with the booster.
Space.com’s October 26 account did not identify an officially confirmed payload for Flight 15. Its estimate of a possible November launch was an outlook, rather than an announced launch date.
